Animated Playback

Layer Toggles
Stack different data layers to build your ideal radar view. Toggle the precipitation radar on and off, overlay NWS alert polygons to see warning boundaries, or switch to a satellite base layer for cloud coverage context. Each layer can be independently controlled.
NWS Alert Polygons
When severe weather warnings are active, Breeze draws the official NWS alert polygons directly on the radar map. Tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, flash flood warnings — each type is color-coded so you can instantly see what's happening and where.
Playback Controls
Customize your radar experience with adjustable loop duration (1 hour, 3 hours, or 6 hours of history) and playback speed (slow, normal, or fast). Choose from multiple color palettes to match your preference — from the classic green-to-red spectrum to high-contrast and accessible options.

Interactive Map
Pinch to zoom, pan to explore. The radar is rendered on a full interactive MapKit map, so you get the same fluid gesture handling you expect from Apple Maps. Your current location is always centered by default, but you can explore any region.
